The Gemist Hub

About

A professional-led tooth-gem studio and academy, built on clinical experience and a method you can trust.

Nhi's story

Before there was a studio, there were years chairside. Nhi spent them in clinical dental settings — learning how enamel behaves, how the mouth heals, and how much the small details matter when you are working a millimetre from someone's smile.

The Gemist Hub grew straight out of that experience. What began in 2022 as a quiet Sydney practice — one considered application at a time — became a place people travelled for, and then a place people came to learn.

The difference was never the crystal. It was the method around it: a science-based, safety-first approach that gives a tooth gem the same care a clinician gives any surface of the tooth.

Experience and method, held to the same standard — for the smile in the chair and the technician learning the craft.

The method

Everything at The Gemist Hub runs on one curriculum — the same six-part framework Nhi teaches in the Bachelor of Tooth Gemistry, and the one every application in the studio follows. It is what turns a pretty result into a safe, repeatable one.

  1. Enamel Intelligence

Reading the tooth before anything touches it — its surface, its history, and how a bond will behave on it.

  2. Risk Profiling

Knowing what can go wrong, and designing every step so that it does not.

  3. Candidacy

Deciding, honestly, whether a gem is right for this mouth at all — sometimes the answer is not yet.

  4. Ergonomic Tooth Gemistry

The physical craft of placement — angle, pressure and a bond built to sit comfortably and last.

  5. Smile Analysis

Choosing a stone that suits the face it lives in, rather than one that shouts over it.

  6. Infection & Disease Prevention

A clean, controlled field, every time — the clinical hygiene the work quietly depends on.

Since 2022

The Gemist Hub has finished more than six hundred smiles since it opened. The number matters less than what sits behind it — a repeatable method, results that hold, and clients who come back and send the people they love.

You can see that work in the gallery, and in the artists who now carry the same standard across the country.

The studio

Two rooms, one standard. Sydney and Adelaide (Mawson Lakes) both run the same calm, unhurried appointment: questions welcome, nothing rushed, the finish intentional.

Come for a first gem or a full new skill set — there is room to take your time, and someone who will explain every step before it happens. When you are ready, you can book an appointment.
